Alienware 17 R4 LCD Lid Back Cover

This OEM assembly replaces the 17.3 inch LCD rear panel on an Alienware 17 R4 laptop that was built without the optional Tobii eye-tracking hardware. It arrives new and includes the wireless antenna cables and Tron LED lighting cables already installed. The part carries Dell part number 88M59 for direct identification.

For owners of a 17 R4 without Tobii hardware

This cover fits only Alienware 17 R4 systems that do not have the Tobii Aware or Tobii Eye Tracker option. Buyers whose laptop includes that sensor array must select a different back cover assembly designed to accommodate the extra hardware. It is not a universal shell for other 17 inch models or for the R4 variant equipped with Tobii.

Dell part number 88M59 confirms fit

Matching this number to the label on the original panel is the single check that guarantees compatibility. If the existing cover shows a different part number, this assembly will not align with the mounting points or antenna routing of that system.
