24.5-inch 320Hz IPS gaming monitor

This 24.5-inch IPS panel targets competitive players who need high refresh rates and low response times. A 320Hz refresh rate and 0.5 ms response time reduce motion blur in fast-paced titles. FreeSync Premium and G-SYNC support keep frames tear-free with compatible GPUs. The 1920 x 1080 resolution keeps GPU load manageable for high frame rates.

Thermals noise and power in daily use

The LCD backlight reaches 400 cd/m² brightness with a typical 1000:1 contrast ratio. No HDR support means the backlight runs at standard SDR levels during long sessions. An anti-glare coating cuts reflections without adding fan noise, as the monitor uses passive cooling. Power draw stays consistent with typical 24.5-inch IPS panels at this brightness.

Build fit connectivity and desk space

Two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 handle PC and console sources simultaneously. Five USB ports provide a hub for peripherals, reducing cable runs to the tower. A 16:9 aspect ratio and 90 ppi pixel density match common competitive monitor layouts. The flat, non-curved screen with 178-degree viewing angles suits multi-monitor arrays and adjustable arms.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the AW2525HM on a VESA arm and what step is often missed?

The monitor uses a 100 x 100 mm VESA pattern; remove the stand by pressing the release button before attaching the arm, otherwise the bracket will not sit flush.

What part of the AW2525HM will need replacement first after heavy use?

The IPS panel backlight is rated for typical LED lifetime; brightness may gradually drop from the 400 cd/m² spec after many thousands of hours.

What limit appears first when the AW2525HM runs at 320 Hz for long sessions?

Sustained 320 Hz output is capped by the single DisplayPort 1.4 link and the two HDMI 2.1 ports, so the connection bandwidth becomes the bottleneck before the panel itself.
