Buyers who want a 17.3-inch FHD chassis with a 12th-generation 14-core CPU, 64 GB RAM and RTX 3080 Ti graphics for extended gaming sessions or GPU-accelerated creative work will match this specification. Users who need a higher-resolution panel, a touchscreen display, a newer GPU architecture or a smaller form factor should look at something else.

RTX 3080 Ti 16 GB GDDR6X graphics

The dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti laptop GPU with 16 GB GDDR6X memory is the single component that determines whether this system meets the performance target for ray-traced titles, high-frame-rate esports or GPU compute workloads at 1080p.

Questions about this item

Will the 12th Gen Core i7-12700H and RTX 3080 Ti work with my older USB 3.2 Gen 1 dock and external 1080p monitor?

The laptop includes USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C at 40Gbps and rear video ports, so a USB 3.2 Gen 1 dock and 1920 x 1080 display will connect and run at their native speeds.

How can I verify the 14-core CPU and 16GB GDDR6X GPU are performing correctly after first boot?

Open Task Manager to confirm 14 logical processors hitting 4.7 GHz turbo, then run the NVIDIA control panel to see the RTX 3080 Ti reporting 16GB GDDR6X memory.

Does the box contain a second 512GB SSD module or must I buy one to reach the listed 1TB?

The system ships with two 512GB SSDs already installed for a total of 1TB; no extra storage purchase is required.
