17.3" FHD gaming laptop for high-refresh play

The Alienware X17 R2 pairs a 14-core Intel Core i7-12700H with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 laptop GPU and 32 GB of memory. A 1 TB solid-state drive stores the operating system and a large game library. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed on the 1920 x 1080 non-touch display.

Verify power and port needs before ordering

The system uses a proprietary high-wattage adapter that must match the original specification to sustain 12-phase graphics and 6-phase processor voltage regulation. Confirm that your external monitors use HDMI or the rear-mounted USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C connection supporting 40 Gbps throughput. The Killer Wi-Fi 6E module requires a compatible 6 GHz router for maximum wireless speed.

Fits a desk-bound setup

All video outputs sit at the back, freeing the sides for accessories and keeping cables clear of mouse movement. The 1.5 mm travel keyboard offers per-key AlienFX RGB lighting across 16.8 million colours with N-key rollover and anti-ghosting. Stain-resistant Lunar Light paint resists wear during long sessions, while the internal voltage regulation sustains clock speeds without external cooling hardware.
