Compact monochrome laser printer

The Dell B1260dn is a desktop laser printer built for monochrome output on plain paper. It prints at 29 ppm with a maximum resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi and includes automatic duplex printing. Standard paper capacity is 250 sheets with a 250-sheet output bin. The unit provides Wi-Fi connectivity plus Dell Mobile Print, Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud Print support. A 533 MHz processor and 64 MB of memory handle print jobs.

Small offices and workgroups needing duplex

This printer suits environments that require automatic two-sided printing, network and mobile connectivity, and a monthly duty cycle up to 20000 pages. It is not for users who need colour printing, scanning or copying functions, larger paper capacities, or higher memory for complex graphics workflows.

29 ppm monochrome print speed with automatic duplex

The single specification that decides fit is the 29 pages-per-minute monochrome engine combined with built-in automatic duplexing. If your workload demands that throughput and two-sided printing on plain paper, this model matches the requirement; if you need faster output or colour, look elsewhere.
