DELL BRJ65200325 65W USB-C Adapter

The DELL BRJ65200325 is a 65W USB-C AC adapter built as a direct replacement for Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga and Chromebook laptops. It delivers up to 65W of power through a USB Type-C connector and supports 45W devices as well. The unit operates on 100-240V AC input at 50-60Hz for worldwide use. It is supplied new and carries ETL certification.

Sustained 65W delivery with multi-voltage output

Under continuous load the adapter maintains stable output across five fixed voltage steps: 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V and 20V at 3A each, plus a 20V 3.25A mode for the full 65W rating. The 20V 2.25A step provides 45W for lighter devices. This multi-profile design prevents voltage sag during extended charging sessions. The corded electric construction ensures a secure connection throughout the cycle.

Replaces proprietary 65W

This adapter replaces the long list of Lenovo part numbers including ADLX45 and ADLX65 series chargers across ThinkPad T, X, L, E and ThinkBook lines plus Yoga and Chromebook models. The jump is worthwhile when the original brick is lost, damaged or when a single compact charger must cover both 65W and 45W laptops. It is not for devices that require a barrel connector or exceed 65W input.

Questions about this item

Does the 65 W USB-C adapter run hot or make noise when it powers a laptop all day?

The unit is a compact AC-to-DC converter with no moving parts, so it operates silently and stays cool under normal 65 W loads.

What must I already have for this charger to work with my ThinkPad or Yoga?

Your laptop needs a USB-C port that accepts 20 V at 3.25 A (65 W) or 2.25 A (45 W) via USB Power Delivery.

Will this 65 W adapter charge an older ThinkPad T480 that originally used a 45 W USB-C charger?

Yes — it negotiates 5 V, 9 V, 12 V, 15 V or 20 V automatically, so the T480 draws only the 45 W it requires.
