DELL C31Yc 19In Mini SAS Cable

The DELL C31Yc is a 19-inch Mini SAS cable designed for the PowerEdge R710 server. It connects internal storage controllers to drive backplanes or enclosures using the SAS interface. This new cable suits administrators maintaining or upgrading compatible DELL systems. The part number C31Yc identifies the specific assembly for ordering.

Cable Length and Server Compatibility Limits

At 19 inches, the cable reaches only between adjacent components inside the R710 chassis. It cannot span full-depth enclosures or connect to external JBODs. Builders needing longer internal runs or external Mini SAS links must source a different length. The connector keying matches the R710 backplane; other servers may not accept it.
