Genuine Dell OEM Palmrest for Chromebook 3120

This is a genuine Dell OEM palmrest and touchpad assembly designed for the Chromebook 3120 laptop. The part number G2G9T matches the manufacturer specification for this specific component. It includes the palmrest, touchpad module 8T87R, touchpad cable DW5PN, and both mounting brackets. This new replacement part restores the original input surface and button feel.

For Chromebook 3120 owners without the USB-C port

This assembly fits the Chromebook 3120 laptop version that does not have the optional right-side USB Type-C port. Buyers whose Chromebook 3120 includes that USB-C port cannot use this part and should look for the alternative palmrest assembly. It is also unsuitable for any other Dell model or laptop brand.

The deciding specification is the missing USB-C port

The single specification that determines compatibility is whether your Chromebook 3120 lacks the right-side USB Type-C port. Only systems without that port accept the G2G9T palmrest assembly. Verify your laptop configuration before ordering to ensure the correct fit.
