Suits mobile professionals needing touch input

This configuration suits professionals who want a lightweight aluminium chassis, a 3-cell battery rated for 18.20 hours, and vPro manageability. The single available memory slot limits future RAM expansion. Buyers who need discrete graphics, additional storage bays or a larger display diagonal should consider other form factors.

16GB DDR5 with one free slot

The notebook provides 16GB of DDR5 SDRAM across two total slots, leaving one slot open for an upgrade. Memory speed follows the DDR5 standard. Confirm the maximum supported capacity before purchasing additional modules.

Questions about this item

How long can the Intel Core Ultra 7 265U sustain its 5.30 GHz turbo before thermal throttling begins?

The processor reaches 5.30 GHz turbo frequency, but sustained clocks depend on the cooling solution and workload; Dell does not publish the exact throttle point.

What is the fan noise level and surface temperature when the Pro 14 Plus runs a full-day workload?

The 3.09 lb aluminium chassis uses a dual-fan design; under continuous load the fans stay audible but not intrusive and the keyboard deck remains warm rather than hot.

Does the D17PX ship with the 65 W USB-C power adapter required to charge the 3-cell battery at full speed?

Yes, the box includes a 65 W USB-C AC adapter and power cord that deliver the maximum charging rate for the 18.20-hour battery.
