Dell D280P-00 280 W server PSU

The Dell D280P-00 is a 280 watt server power supply built for the Dell 620, 745 and 755 desktop tower chassis. It suits system builders replacing a failed unit or refreshing legacy workstations that require this exact form factor. Buyers needing higher wattage or a different mechanical layout cannot use this part.

Proprietary Dell mounting and connectors

This unit uses Dell proprietary mounting brackets and output connectors that match the 620, 745 and 755 tower cases. The fixed cable harness and keyed plugs prevent incorrect insertion during installation. Standard ATX screws or modular cables will not fit, so verify the chassis model before ordering.

Questions about this item

What power connector standard does the 280 W Dell D280P-00 use for the 620, 745 and 755 desktops?

The unit is a direct replacement for the original Dell power supply in the 620, 745 and 755 models, using the proprietary Dell connector fitted to those chassis.

What chassis dimensions or mounting points are required to fit the D280P-00 in a 620, 745 or 755 desktop?

It matches the standard Dell PSU form factor for the 620, 745 and 755 towers, so it slides into the existing bay and secures with the original screws.
