Dell D5pv2 16X SATA Internal DVD Rewriter
This Dell D5pv2 is a new internal optical drive with a 16X write speed and SATA interface. It supports dual-layer DVD recording for data storage and media creation. The unit fits a standard 5.25-inch drive bay in desktop computers.
Suits users adding DVD write capability
This drive suits users who need to burn DVDs or read legacy discs on a desktop PC. It is not for systems lacking a 5.25-inch bay or a free SATA port. Buyers wanting Blu-ray playback or USB external connectivity should look at something else.
