Mobile workstation for multi-tasking professionals

The Dell DC 15250 pairs a 10-core Intel Core i7-1355U processor with 32GB DDR5 memory and a 512GB solid-state drive. A 15.6-inch Full HD anti-glare panel delivers 1920 x 1080 resolution for clear text and spreadsheets. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed, and a fingerprint reader adds biometric sign-in for business users.

Connectivity built for desk and travel

One USB 3.2 Type-C port with DisplayPort output drives an external monitor while two Type-A ports handle legacy peripherals. An HDMI port, SD card reader and combo audio jack round out the physical interfaces. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 provide wireless bandwidth for cloud apps and accessories without needing a dock.

Sustained productivity within integrated graphics

The Intel UHD Graphics engine handles office workloads, video playback and light creative tasks without a discrete GPU. Under continuous load the 10-core CPU can reach 5.00GHz turbo frequencies, though thermal constraints in the 0.70-inch chassis will throttle clocks during extended rendering or compile jobs. Buyers needing dedicated graphics memory or higher sustained GPU throughput should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 10-core i7-1355U throttle under heavy multi-core workloads?

The processor runs at a 1.70 GHz base with a 5.00 GHz turbo; sustained loads will drop toward base clocks once the cooling system reaches its thermal limit.

How loud and hot does the chassis get during an all-day work session?

The slim 0.70-inch profile relies on a single fan; expect noticeable fan noise and warm keyboard deck areas after several hours of continuous use.

Which dock or monitor cable do I need to drive an external display?

Use the USB 3.2 Type-C port with DisplayPort alt-mode or the HDMI port; both are built in and require only a compatible cable.
