Dell DC15250 15.6-inch FHD laptop

The Dell DC15250 is a 15.6-inch Full HD laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-1355U 10-core processor with 16GB DDR5 memory and a 2TB SSD. It runs Windows 11 Pro and includes integrated Intel UHD Graphics, a backlit keyboard with fingerprint reader, and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This laptop suits professionals needing a portable 15.6-inch machine for office applications, video calls, and multitasking with 16GB DDR5 and fast 2TB storage. Buyers who want a dedicated graphics card for gaming or 3D rendering, a touchscreen display, or more than two USB Type-A ports should look elsewhere.

Sustained load behaviour

Under sustained workloads the 10-core processor can reach 5.00GHz turbo frequency while the integrated Intel UHD Graphics shares system memory. The 16GB DDR5 and 2TB SSD support extended multitasking sessions, and the 15.6-inch anti-glare display maintains visibility during long periods of use.

Questions about this item

What cables or peripherals are required to use the HDMI port on the Dell DC15250?

A standard HDMI cable and an external display with an HDMI input are all that is needed; the laptop provides the HDMI output directly.

Can I connect a USB 2.0 mouse to the USB 2.0 Type-A port while using the USB 3.2 Type-C port for a monitor?

Yes, the USB 2.0 Type-A and USB 3.2 Type-C ports operate independently, so a legacy mouse and a DisplayPort monitor can be used simultaneously.

How can I confirm the 16GB DDR5 memory is recognised after setup?

Open Settings > System > About in Windows 11 Pro; the installed RAM line will show 16 GB.
