Product identity

The Dell DC15250 is a 15.6 inch laptop running Windows 11 Pro for professionals who need a portable system with a full HD anti-glare display and a numeric keypad. It suits office work, remote meetings and general productivity tasks. It is not for buyers who want a dedicated graphics processor or a touchscreen.

Deciding specification

The processor is an Intel Core i7-1355U with 10 cores and a maximum turbo frequency of 5.00GHz, paired with 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB solid state drive. This combination determines whether the laptop can handle your multitasking workload and storage needs.

Sustained load behaviour

Integrated Intel UHD Graphics shares system memory and thermal headroom with the CPU during extended sessions. The slim chassis at 0.70 inches thick limits cooling capacity so clock speeds will settle below the peak turbo figure when all 10 cores run continuously.

Questions about this item

How does the 5.00GHz turbo frequency behave once the i7-1355U is inside the laptop?

The 10-core processor reaches 5.00GHz for short bursts when thermals allow, then settles to a sustainable level for everyday workloads and multitasking.

What does the USB 3.2 Type-C port with DisplayPort actually support in practice?

It carries data at USB 3.2 speeds and drives an external monitor through DisplayPort Alt Mode on the same connector.

Will the 14.11 x 9.27 x 0.70 inch chassis fit in a standard 15.6 inch laptop sleeve?

Yes, those dimensions match a typical 15.6 inch form factor, so most sleeves and bags sized for 15.6 inch laptops will accommodate it.
