What this adapter does and who it fits

This 65W USB-C AC adapter delivers 20V at 3.25A to Lenovo laptops that charge through a USB-C port. It covers ThinkPad T, X, L, E, P, A, and Yoga series, plus IdeaPad, Chromebook, and Flex models that accept 65W or 45W input. The unit weighs 10.9 ounces and includes a detachable AC cord.

Sustained-load behaviour

The adapter accepts 100-240V at 50-60Hz and maintains a steady 65W output without throttling. Built-in over-voltage, short-circuit, and thermal protections keep the supply stable during long charging sessions. Power Delivery negotiates the correct voltage so the laptop draws only what it needs.

What it replaces and when to upgrade

It replaces a lost or damaged 65W or 45W Lenovo USB-C charger and adds a spare for travel or a second desk. The jump is worth it when the original brick fails, when you need a lighter 10.9-ounce unit for mobility, or when you want a single charger that covers multiple Lenovo families. Buyers who need more than 65W for larger workstations should look elsewhere.
