Genuine OEM DMD Chip for NEC Projectors

This genuine OEM DMD chip is a direct replacement for the NEC U310W and NP4100W series projectors. It restores the imaging engine in compatible units so the projector can return to service. Installation is intended for technicians or experienced users familiar with DLP light-engine disassembly.

Extensively Tested for Zero Dead Pixels

Each unit is tested at least three times to verify a clear projected image with no dead pixels before it ships. This repeated validation reduces the risk of installing a defective imager and helps ensure consistent output once the projector is reassembled and powered on.

Reliable Imaging Without Visual Defects

The component arrives in new condition and is designed to meet the original optical specifications of the supported models. Proper handling during installation preserves the tested pixel integrity so the projector delivers a clean image in normal operation.

Questions about this item

How much power does the DMD chip draw when the projector runs all day?

The DMD chip itself has no separate power rating; it operates from the projector's internal supply and adds no measurable heat or noise.

Which NEC projector models must I already own for this chip to fit?

This chip is built for the NEC U310W and NP4100W series, so one of those projectors is required for installation.

Will the chip work if I keep my older NEC lamp assembly?

Yes, the DMD chip is independent of the lamp module; replacing the chip does not require a new lamp.
