8 GB DDR4 with two slots expandable to 16 GB

The installed memory is 8 GB of DDR4 across two slots, with a 16 GB ceiling. This capacity handles typical multitasking and web workloads. Users who regularly run virtual machines or large datasets will hit the limit quickly.

Charger included, original battery tested

An AC adapter is supplied and the original lithium-ion battery has been verified to hold a charge. Memory upgrades are straightforward through the two accessible slots. The single USB port and lack of an optical drive may require a hub or external drive for peripheral-heavy workflows.

Questions about this item

How fast will the Intel i5 Dual Core Gen 7 2.40 GHz processor feel in everyday tasks?

The dual-core 2.40 GHz chip handles web browsing, document editing and video playback smoothly; heavier multi-threaded workloads will take longer.

What wireless standard does the 802.11a/b/g adapter support and what speeds can I expect?

The adapter connects to 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks using the 802.11a/b/g standard, so maximum link rates are limited to 54 Mbps.

Can I add a second memory stick to reach the 16 GB maximum?

Yes, the laptop has two DDR4 slots with one occupied by the 8 GB module; adding a compatible stick brings total memory to 16 GB.
