A tower desktop with a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor, 32GB DDR5 memory, 2TB NVMe storage and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 12GB graphics card for demanding creative and AI workloads
The Dell Tower Plus EBT2250 is a new tower desktop built around an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with 24 cores and a maximum turbo frequency of 5.7 GHz. It ships with 32 GB of DDR5 memory, a 2 TB NVMe solid-state drive, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card with 12 GB of GDDR6X memory. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed, and a wired keyboard and mouse are included in the box.
The 24-core processor and dedicated NPU accelerate local AI inference through Intel AI Boost and OpenVINO, while the RTX 4070 provides GPU compute for rendering and machine-learning workloads. Buyers who need ECC memory, dual GPU configurations, or a rack-mountable chassis should look at workstation-class systems instead.
The motherboard uses the LGA 1851 socket, which limits future processor upgrades to the Intel Core Ultra Series 2 family. Memory slots are populated with DDR5 5600 MHz modules, and the 2 TB NVMe drive occupies one M.2 PCIe slot. Verify cooler clearance and power-phase count before planning any CPU swap.

The EBT2250 only ships with the 24-core Core Ultra 9 285K running at 3.7 GHz base and 5.7 GHz turbo, so there is no alternative CPU to select.
The 5.7 GHz turbo gives short bursts of maximum single-thread performance for responsive app launches and snappy multitasking before the 20-core processor settles at sustained speeds.
The card offers three DisplayPort 1.4a ports and one HDMI 2.1a port, driving up to four simultaneous 4K or higher displays from the 12 GB GDDR6X frame buffer.
