Core Ultra 9 285K Tower for AI-Ready Workloads

The Dell EBT2250 desktop pairs a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with 32GB of DDR5 5600 MHz memory and a 2TB NVMe SSD. An integrated Intel AI Boost NPU handles local inference tasks while Windows 11 Home and Microsoft Copilot provide the software stack. An NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB GDDR7 drives graphics output.

Suited to Developers and Creative Professionals

This configuration targets software engineers running local models, video editors working with 4K timelines, and researchers needing GPU compute without a workstation chassis. Buyers who need ECC memory, dual-GPU scaling, or rackmount dimensions should evaluate other platforms.

24-Core Processor with 76MB Cache Defines Capacity

The Core Ultra 9 285K delivers 24 cores and 76MB total cache with a 5.7 GHz turbo ceiling, setting the ceiling for compile times, batch renders, and concurrent virtual machines. If the workload demands more threads or larger cache, this CPU becomes the bottleneck.

Questions about this item

How do I install the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB GDDR7 graphics card, and what step do people get wrong?

The RTX 5060 Ti 16GB GDDR7 comes factory-installed in the PCIe x16 slot. The step people miss is connecting the supplementary power cables from the PSU to the card before closing the chassis.

What maintenance or replacement will the 32GB DDR5 5600 MHz memory need later?

The 32GB DDR5 5600 MHz memory is solid-state and requires no scheduled maintenance. Replacement is only needed if a module fails, which is rare under normal use.

What limit shows up first under sustained load on the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K?

The Intel Core Ultra 9 285K will hit its thermal ceiling first during prolonged heavy workloads, causing the 5.7 GHz turbo to throttle back to the 3.7 GHz base clock.
