Tower Desktop for Business and Education

The Dell ECT1250 tower desktop ships new with Windows 11 Pro and an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor. Twenty-four cores run at a 3.7 GHz base frequency with a 5.70 GHz maximum turbo and 36 MB of L3 cache. Front and rear port layouts include USB 2.0, USB 3.2 Type-A, USB 3.2 Type-C, DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, Gigabit Ethernet and a headset jack. Included wired keyboard and mouse connect over USB.

Questions about this item

Can I keep using my current DisplayPort 1.4 monitor with the Intel UHD Graphics on this ECT1250?

Yes, the rear panel includes a DisplayPort 1.4 output driven by the integrated Intel UHD Graphics, so an existing DisplayPort monitor will connect directly.

How can I verify the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K is running at its 3.7 GHz base speed and 5.70 GHz turbo after setup?

Open Task Manager in Windows 11 Pro, select the Performance tab, and watch the CPU clock speed settle at 3.7 GHz at idle and rise toward 5.70 GHz under load.

Which peripherals are included in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The box contains the ECT1250 tower, a Dell KB216 wired keyboard, a Dell MS116 wired mouse, and Windows 11 Pro pre-installed; a monitor is not included and must be bought separately.
