Tower desktop with a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285 processor, 48GB DDR5 memory, 4TB NVMe storage and NVIDIA RTX 3050 graphics
The Dell ECT1250 is a tower desktop built around an Intel Core Ultra 9 285 processor with 24 cores and a 36 MB L3 cache. It ships with 48 GB of DDR5 5600 MHz memory and a 4 TB NVMe solid-state drive. An NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card with 6 GB of GDDR6 memory handles display output. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.
Business users and educators who rely on the on-chip AI Boost NPU for local inference will benefit from the 24-core architecture. The graphics card provides DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1 and DVI connections for three monitors. Buyers who need more than 6 GB of video memory for heavy 3D rendering or GPU compute should look at a different configuration.
The processor uses the LGA 1851 socket, so any future CPU change is limited to processors designed for that specific socket. The 48 GB of installed DDR5 memory and the 4 TB NVMe drive occupy the primary slots, so expansion depends on the board layout and available bays.

The graphics card is already installed in the Dell ECT1250 tower. When adding a monitor, connect the cable to the RTX 3050 ports — one DisplayPort 1.4, one HDMI 2.1 and one DVI — not to the motherboard video outputs, which stay disabled.
The MT7920 2x2 802.11ax card is soldered to the motherboard and cannot be swapped. Keep its drivers updated through Windows Update; if the hardware fails the whole board must be serviced.
The 24-core processor has a 2.5 GHz base frequency and a 5.60 GHz turbo ceiling. Under continuous all-core load the tower's 12.02 lb air-cooled chassis reaches its thermal envelope first, forcing clocks down toward the base speed.
