60Wh replacement battery for Dell Latitude 7000

This 60Wh lithium-polymer battery operates at 7.6V and replaces the original F3YGT pack in Latitude 12 7280, 7290, 13 7380, 7390, 14 7480 and 7490 models. It is a new, rechargeable unit supplied with two screwdrivers and two plastic sheets for installation. The pack weighs 10.8 ounces and measures 14.33in W x 12.83in H x 9.06in D.

Voltage and capacity limits of the 7.6V platform

The battery delivers 60Wh at 7.6V and is designed only for systems that originally shipped with a 60Wh pack. It will not fit the Latitude 7390 2-in-1 series or any model that uses the 42Wh 3-cell DJ1J0 type. Built-in protection circuits guard against overcharge, overdischarge, overheating and short circuits, but the pack cannot exceed its rated voltage or capacity.

Upgrades from lower-capacity 3-cell packs

This unit replaces 42Wh 3-cell batteries such as the DJ1J0 and restores the runtime intended for the 60Wh configuration. The jump is worth it when the original battery has degraded below usable capacity or when the laptop shipped with the smaller pack and the chassis accepts the larger one. It does not add features beyond the original specification.
