60 Wh replacement battery for Latitude 7000 series

This 60 Wh lithium-ion pack replaces the original F3YGT cell in Latitude 12 7280 and 7290, Latitude 13 7380 and 7390, and Latitude 14 7480 and 7490 models. It is built with grade A polymer cells rated for up to 500 charge cycles and ships new in black.

Verify the exact model

The battery fits the listed Latitude 7000 series machines but does not fit the Latitude 7390 2-in-1 variant. It only replaces 60 Wh packs such as DM3WC, DM6WC, 2X39G, KG7VF and V4940; it will not work with the 42 Wh three-cell DJ1J0 unit. Check the label on your old battery to confirm the 60 Wh rating and a matching part number.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

The pack operates at 7.6 volts and 20 volts AC adapter voltage with a 96 watt power rating. Lithium-ion polymer chemistry keeps heat output low during typical office workloads. No moving parts means silent operation. The unit weighs 335 grams.

Questions about this item

Does the 60Wh F3YGT battery come with any installation tools or screws?

The battery is supplied as a standalone unit; no tools, screws or additional hardware are included.

My Latitude 7480 originally had a 42Wh 3-cell battery — can I use this 60Wh 4-cell version instead?

This replacement only fits systems that originally used a 60Wh 4-cell battery; it will not work in place of a 42Wh 3-cell unit such as the DJ1J0.

What runtime can I expect from the 60Wh rating on a Latitude 7390 under typical office use?

The 60Wh capacity is the energy the pack stores; actual runtime varies with screen brightness, workload and power settings, but the pack is rated for up to 500 charge cycles.
