Core i9-13900HX 24-core laptop for high-refresh

The DELL G16 7630 combines a 16.0" 2560x1600 QHD+ panel at 240Hz with an Intel Core i9 13th Gen processor reaching 5.4 GHz turbo across 24 cores. A GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER GPU with 12 GB GDDR6X drives modern titles at high frame rates. Windows 11 Home is preinstalled on the 1 TB SSD.

16 GB soldered memory

The 16 GB of system memory is not expandable, so buyers who want more capacity must choose a different model. Storage uses a single 960 GB solid-state drive; adding a second drive is not possible. An integrated webcam and 802.11ac wireless with Bluetooth handle conferencing and connectivity without extra peripherals.

Vapor-chamber cooling sustains 5.4 GHz clocks

The thermal solution keeps the 24-core CPU near its 5.4 GHz turbo frequency under extended loads rather than throttling after a short burst. GPU temperatures remain stable during prolonged rendering or gaming, allowing the RTX 4070 SUPER to deliver consistent frame pacing. Fan noise rises with load but stays controlled for a 16-inch chassis.

Questions about this item

How long can the Core i9-13900HX sustain 5.4 GHz before thermal throttling reduces clocks?

The 24-core processor reaches 5.4 GHz on turbo boost, but sustained all-core speeds depend on the laptop's cooling capacity and workload; expect lower clocks during extended heavy tasks.

What are the fan noise and surface temperatures when the RTX 4070 SUPER runs at full load for hours?

Under continuous GPU load the dedicated RTX 4070 SUPER with 12 GB GDDR6X will generate significant heat; fan speeds rise to manage thermals, producing audible noise and warm keyboard areas.

Which external monitor cables or docks are required to drive the 2560 x 1600 240 Hz panel at its native rate?

The laptop's video outputs determine the maximum external refresh rate; check the specific port types on this G16 7630 model to match a cable or dock that supports QHD+ at 240 Hz.
