240 W Dell adapter for Precision M6400 M6500

This 240 W external AC adapter is built for Dell Precision M6400 and M6500 mobile workstations. It delivers the rated power through a three-pin connector and includes three SATA peripheral connectors. The unit ships new in black.

Not for users needing higher wattage

The adapter suits owners of the listed Precision models who need a direct replacement. It will not fit laptops that require a higher power rating, a different pin layout or connectors other than the three SATA leads provided. Buyers with other Dell series or non-Dell hardware should look elsewhere.

240 W capacity with three SATA leads

At 240 W the adapter comfortably runs the Precision M6400 and M6500 under full load while powering up to three SATA peripherals simultaneously. Headroom ends when the combined draw of the system and attached drives exceeds the 240 W limit, at which point the unit cannot supply additional current.
