Genuine replacement lamp for Dell projectors

The DELL GW905 module delivers a new P-VIP 165W bulb inside a pre-assembled housing that matches Dell part number 311-8529. It is built for owners of compatible Dell projectors who need a straightforward, ready-to-install light source without separate bulb handling.

Check your projector model before ordering

Verify that the unit you service lists GW905 or 311-8529 in its documentation to confirm fitment. The lamp ships as a complete housing, so no additional tools or disassembly of the old cage are required during replacement.

Fits directly into the projector lamp cavity

Once seated, the module restores up to 3000 hours of normal operation or 5000 hours in economy mode, freeing the projector from dimming or shutdown warnings. The housing design aligns with the original mounting points and connector, allowing the projector to resume service immediately after the lamp timer is reset.
