Genuine 240 W Dell SFF power supply

This is a brand-new Dell original power supply rated at 240 W. It is built specifically for the Optiplex 3040 and 5040 Small Form Factor desktops. The unit carries Dell part number H62JR and model H240EM-00.

For owners of Optiplex 3040 or 5040 SFF systems

It suits anyone replacing a failed or ageing unit inside those exact chassis. Builders working with full-size towers, proprietary rack mounts, or any other Dell model should look elsewhere because the connector layout and physical dimensions match only the listed SFF platforms.

Direct swap with two key connectors

Installation is a straight exchange: remove the old supply, slide this one in, and attach the 4-pin ATX +12 V and 8-pin EPS +12 V cables. The only common issue is forgetting to seat the 8-pin EPS connector fully, which leaves the CPU without power and prevents the system from posting.
