Dell H924H FireWire Controller Card

The Dell H924H is a PCI add-in card that provides two IEEE 1394A FireWire ports for connecting legacy peripherals such as external hard drives, camcorders or audio interfaces. It suits workstations or servers that still require the 1394 interface for specialised equipment or data migration tasks.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The card maintains the standard 1394A bandwidth during extended transfers, so performance stays consistent across long file copies or streaming captures. It is not suited for builds that need the higher throughput of later 1394B implementations or for systems without an available PCI slot.
