Model i3520-5244BLK-PUS with 15.6" FHD touchscreen

The Dell Inspiron i3520-5244BLK-PUS is a 15.6-inch laptop with a Full HD touchscreen running Windows 11 Home. It uses an Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor from the 11th generation paired with Intel UHD graphics. The system includes 16GB of DDR4 3200 memory and a 1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. Connectivity covers Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth.

Suits daily work and study; not for heavy graphics

This configuration suits students, office workers and home users who want a responsive touchscreen for web browsing, document editing and video streaming. The 16GB DDR4 memory and 1TB NVMe SSD keep multiple apps and browser tabs running smoothly. Buyers who need discrete graphics for gaming, 3D rendering or video editing should look at a different class of machine. The integrated Intel UHD graphics cannot meet those workloads.

1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD decides storage fit

The single specification that decides whether this is the right part is the 1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. It provides fast boot times and enough capacity for the operating system, applications and a large personal file library. Users who work with very large media projects or extensive virtual-machine images may find the capacity limiting and should consider a model that supports a larger drive.

Questions about this item

Does the 15.6 inch FHD touchscreen and Intel UHD graphics run warm or loud during all-day use?

The i5-1135G7 processor and integrated Intel UHD graphics share the same cooling system; under typical office loads the 3-cell battery and low-power DDR4 3200 memory keep thermals moderate, while heavier multitasking may spin the fan audibly.

What must I already own to start working with the Windows 11 Home install on this laptop?

Only the included power adapter is required; the 16GB DDR4 3200 RAM and 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD are already installed, and Wi-Fi 5 plus Bluetooth connect to existing networks and peripherals without extra hardware.

Can I keep using my older DDR3 SO-DIMM modules if I want to expand the memory later?

No — this model uses DDR4 3200 SO-DIMM slots, and DDR3 modules are physically and electrically incompatible; any upgrade must be DDR4.
