Dell Inspiron i3520 touchscreen laptop

This 15.6 inch laptop runs Windows 11 Home on an Intel Core i5 11th Gen processor at 2.40GHz with 16GB of DDR4 3200 memory and a 512GB SSD. The Full HD touchscreen resolves 1920 x 1080 and is driven by Intel UHD Graphics. Wireless connectivity uses Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth. It is built for home and personal use.

Carbon Black chassis with touchscreen and 3 cell

The Carbon Black finish covers a traditional clamshell that opens to a 15.6 inch FHD IPS touchscreen. A 3 cell lithium ion battery sits inside the base. The touchscreen supports direct input for navigation and creative tasks. Ports and wireless antennas are integrated into the frame for daily desk or mobile use.

16GB DDR4 3200 and 512GB SSD define multitasking

The installed 16GB of DDR4 3200 RAM and 512GB PCIe SSD set the practical limit for simultaneous applications and local storage. The platform supports up to 32GB of DDR4 memory and larger NVMe drives, but the shipping configuration decides current capacity. Buyers who need more memory or storage at purchase should note the fixed 16GB and 512GB specification.

Questions about this item

What Wi-Fi standard does the laptop support and what is its practical limit?

The laptop uses Wi-Fi 5, which caps real-world throughput below the router's maximum link rate, especially on crowded 5 GHz channels.

What physical memory slot is available for upgrading the 16 GB DDR4 3200?

One DDR4 SO-DIMM slot is free; the board accepts up to 32 GB total, so a single 16 GB module completes the maximum.

How is the M.2 512 GB SSD installed and what step is often missed?

Slide the drive into the M.2 socket at a shallow angle, secure it with the single screw, then reinstall the bottom cover; the missed step is forgetting that screw.
