This specific bezel lacks the opening for an integrated webcam. It suits owners whose 1420 model was built without a camera module. Buyers needing a camera window should look for the alternative bezel variant.

Questions about this item

Does the 14.1" KU772 bezel match the screw-hole pattern on my Inspiron 1420 lid?

The KU772 is moulded for the Inspiron 1420 14.1" chassis, so its mounting tabs and screw holes align with the original lid.

What is the trick to snapping the KU772 bezel on without cracking the plastic clips?

Start at the top centre, press the hinge-area tabs first, then work outward along the sides and finish at the bottom edge.

Will the KU772 bezel's surface finish wear differently from the rest of the 1420 lid over time?

It uses the same textured plastic as the factory bezel, so colour match and wear characteristics stay consistent.
