Dell Inspiron 15 3520 configuration

This laptop ships with a 12th Gen Intel Core i3-1215U processor, 32GB DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD. The 15.6-inch FHD panel runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution and is driven by Intel UHD Graphics. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on the 3.65-pound black chassis.

Suited for office work, study and light multitasking

The six-core CPU and large memory allocation handle documents, browser tabs and video calls comfortably. Buyers who need dedicated GPU acceleration, a backlit keyboard, fingerprint login or a higher-resolution screen should consider other models. The integrated graphics and 720p webcam limit gaming and content-creation workloads.

2TB PCIe SSD capacity

The single 2TB PCIe solid-state drive provides the bulk storage for the system; no secondary drive bay or hard-disk option is listed. Verify that this capacity meets your local-file needs before ordering.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 32GB DDR4 and 2TB PCIe SSD configuration or look for a different capacity?

This model comes with 32GB DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD as standard. The 32GB allows smooth multitasking with many browser tabs and office apps open, while the 2TB drive stores large project files and media libraries without needing external storage.

What does the 4.4 GHz turbo frequency mean for everyday performance?

The Intel Core i3-1215U runs at a 1.2 GHz base and can boost up to 4.4 GHz on its 6 cores. In practice, the higher turbo speeds up bursty tasks such as opening large spreadsheets, launching apps, or compiling code, while the base clock keeps thermals and battery draw low during light work.

What external displays can the HDMI 1.4 port actually drive?

The HDMI 1.4 port supports a maximum resolution of 1920x1080 at 60 Hz. It will not output 4K or 2K signals, so it is suited for standard Full HD monitors or projectors but not for higher-resolution external displays.
