What this laptop is

The Dell Inspiron 16 5620 is a 16.0 inch touchscreen laptop powered by a 12th Generation Intel Core i7-1255U processor with 10 cores and up to 4.7 GHz speed. It includes 32 GB of DDR4-3200 memory and a 1 TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. The NVIDIA GeForce MX570 graphics card drives a 1920 x 1200 FHD+ anti-glare display with 250 nits brightness and ComfortView support. It ships with Windows 11 Home in a natural silver chassis.

Who it suits and who should look elsewhere

This configuration suits home users who want a large touch display, ample memory and fast solid-state storage for everyday productivity and light creative tasks. The 16:10 screen and Wi-Fi 6 plus Bluetooth 5.2 support modern workflows. Buyers who want more storage than 1 TB or need more than 32 GB of RAM should look at models with higher expandability limits. Users requiring dedicated high-end graphics for gaming or heavy rendering will find the MX570 insufficient.

What the bundled items change

Windows 11 Home provides the operating environment out of the box. The 32 GB DDR4-3200 RAM and 1 TB NVMe SSD are installed and ready to use. The MX570 GPU accelerates supported applications beyond integrated graphics. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 enable current wireless standards. The touch display adds direct interaction. The port selection includes two USB 3.2 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Type-C and one HDMI output for external monitors.

Questions about this item

What operating system must already be licensed to run this laptop?

Open Device Manager and verify NVIDIA GeForce MX570 appears under Display adapters, or run the NVIDIA control panel to see the GPU listed.
