Mainstream touchscreen laptop

The Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6-inch Full HD touchscreen laptop powered by a 12th Generation Intel Core i7-1255U processor with 10 cores and 12 threads. It comes with 12GB of DDR4 memory and a 1TB NVMe solid-state drive. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed. The system targets everyday productivity and media consumption.

Build and daily connectivity

The chassis measures 14.15 inches wide by 9.25 inches deep by 0.90 inches high and weighs 3.5 pounds in a black finish. A non-backlit standard keyboard and a 720p webcam support routine work. Ports include two USB 3.2 Gen 1, one USB 2.0, one HDMI 1.4, a 3-in-1 card reader and a headphone combo jack. Wireless uses 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.0.

Upgrade context and limits

This configuration replaces older hard-drive laptops with faster NVMe storage and a modern 12-thread processor for smoother multitasking. Integrated Intel UHD graphics limit gaming and heavy creative workloads. The 41Wh battery and 45W adapter suit light mobility. Buyers needing dedicated graphics, a backlit keyboard or more than 12GB of RAM should consider other models.
