Ready for everyday work

The Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6 inch touchscreen laptop built around a 10-core Intel Core i5-1235U processor. With 8GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB SSD it handles office suites, web browsing and video calls without delay. The Full HD LED panel runs at 60Hz and supports touch input for direct navigation.

Windows 11 S shapes the software experience

The operating system runs in S mode, so only Microsoft Store apps install by default. This limits malware risk and keeps boot times short, but it blocks traditional desktop programs until the user switches out of S mode. Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics drive the display and handle light creative tasks.

Straightforward setup with one common hurdle

Opening the box reveals the laptop, a power adapter and documentation — no extra dongles or recovery media. First boot walks through region, keyboard and Microsoft account choices in minutes. The main friction point is the S mode restriction; buyers who need legacy Windows applications must switch to full Windows 11 before installing them.
