Dell Inspiron 3520 15.6" TouchScreen Laptop

This new Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6-inch Full HD touchscreen laptop powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U 10-core processor. It includes 16GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB SSD running Windows 11 Pro. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles the display output.

Suits daily productivity and media use

The specification suits students, office workers and home users who want a responsive touchscreen for browsing, documents and streaming. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance for gaming or creative rendering should look elsewhere. Users requiring more than two USB 3.2 ports or a faster wireless standard than 802.11AC will not find them here.

10-core i5-1235U up to 4.40GHz decides fit

The 10-core i5-1235U reaches 4.40GHz turbo and provides the performance ceiling for every task on this device. If your workload demands higher sustained multi-thread speed or discrete GPU acceleration, this processor will be the limiting factor. For general multitasking and light content creation the chip is adequate.

No — the 15.6 inch Full HD TouchScreen Display (1920 x 1080) is built in and driven by the integrated Intel UHD Graphics under Windows 11 Pro.

Will my USB 2.0 peripherals work with the 2 x USB 3.2 and 1 x USB 2.0 ports on this laptop?

Yes — the single USB 2.0 port accepts USB 2.0 devices directly, and the two USB 3.2 ports are backward compatible with USB 2.0 peripherals.

Open Task Manager → Performance → CPU and watch the clock speed rise toward 4.40 GHz during a heavy single-thread workload.
