Dell Inspiron 3520 15.6" FHD Touch Laptop

This new Dell Inspiron 3520 laptop combines a 15.6 inch FHD touchscreen with an Intel Core i7-1255U processor. The 10-core CPU reaches a 4.7 GHz turbo frequency. Integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics handles visual output. A 16 GB DDR4 memory and 2 TB PCIe SSD provide capacity. Windows 11 Pro and Office 2024 License are pre-installed.

Who suits this touchscreen ultraportable

The touchscreen and 15.6 inch display suit users who want direct screen interaction for presentations or creative tasks. The 1.2 GHz base frequency and integrated graphics limit sustained heavy compute or 3D workloads. Buyers needing discrete GPU power or a backlit keyboard should consider other options.

Deciding spec: 2 TB PCIe SSD

The single specification that decides fit is the 2 TB PCIe SSD. It determines whether the laptop holds your full project library, media cache and virtual machines without external drives. If your active dataset exceeds this capacity, the storage becomes the bottleneck regardless of the 10-core processor or 16 GB DDR4 memory.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 16GB DDR4 and 2TB PCIe SSD configuration for this Inspiron 3520?

The laptop ships with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe solid-state drive already installed, so there is no separate capacity option to select.

What does the 4.7 GHz turbo frequency deliver in daily use on the Core i7-1255U?

The processor can boost up to 4.7 GHz for short bursts, giving snappy response when opening apps or loading large files before returning to the 1.2 GHz base clock.

Which devices can I connect through the USB 3.2 Type-A and USB 2.0 Type-A ports?

Two USB 3.2 Type-A ports support faster peripherals such as external SSDs, while one USB 2.0 Type-A port handles standard accessories like mice or keyboards.
