ThinkPad X1 Carbon for mobile professionals

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is a 14-inch ultrabook built for professionals who need a lightweight Windows 7 Pro machine with integrated 4G LTE WWAN. It combines an Intel Core i7-7600U processor, a 2TB NVMe-PCIe SSD and 8GB of memory in a carbon-fibre reinforced chassis that weighs 2.49 lbs.

Simple setup with fingerprint and Thunderbolt

Windows 7 Professional comes pre-installed so the laptop is ready to use after the initial configuration steps. The Touch Sensor Fingerprint Reader lets you sign in without typing a password, while the Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port handles both charging and high-speed data. No internal hardware upgrades are required because the storage and memory are already at the specified capacities.

Verify OS and connectivity needs before ordering

This unit ships with Windows 7 Professional, which no longer receives security updates from Microsoft, so confirm that your software environment supports it. The 4G LTE WWAN card requires an active mobile broadband plan and compatible SIM card for cellular data. Bluetooth 4.1 is included for wireless peripherals, and the non-touch FHD IPS display has a 1920 x 1080 resolution.
