Dell Inspiron 3520 15 laptop for everyday users

This 15.6 inch FHD touchscreen laptop runs on an Intel Core i7-1255U processor with 10 cores and 12 threads. It includes 16GB DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD for fast storage. Windows 11 Home and an Office 2024 license come pre-installed for immediate productivity.

Bundled software and connectivity ready to use

The Office 2024 license activates full desktop apps without a separate purchase. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth provide wireless networking and peripheral support. Ports include two USB 3.2 Type-A, one USB 2.0 Type-A, HDMI, an SD card reader and a headphone combo jack. A 720p webcam and numeric keypad complete the built-in feature set.

Opened chassis for upgrades tested before shipping

The supplier opens the original seal to install the specified memory and storage, then runs inspection and testing. This reduces factory defects but means the box shows signs of handling. Standard laptop screws secure the base; no specialised tools are required for future access. Buyers who want a completely sealed retail unit should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Can the 16GB DDR4 memory be expanded later?

The 16GB DDR4 is soldered and cannot be upgraded, so the capacity you buy is permanent.

What thermal limit appears first when the i7-1255U runs at 4.7 GHz for long periods?

The 15 W base power envelope forces the CPU to drop below 4.7 GHz once the cooling system saturates.

How loud does the fan get and how hot does the chassis feel during an all-day workload?

Under sustained load the fan spins up to an audible level and the keyboard deck becomes warm to the touch.
