Dell Inspiron 3520 touchscreen laptop

The Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6 inch FHD touchscreen laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-1255U 10-core processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics. It comes with 32GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB PCIe SSD, running Windows 11 Pro with an Office 2021 licence. The chassis measures 14.11 by 9.27 by 0.83 inches and weighs 3.65 pounds in black.

Compatibility checklist before ordering

Verify that your workflow can run on integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics, as there is no discrete GPU option on this model. Confirm that 512GB of PCIe storage is sufficient, because the specifications list no secondary drive bay or HDD. Check that the port selection — two USB 3.2 Type-A, one USB 2.0 Type-A, HDMI, SD card reader and a combo audio jack — matches your peripherals. Note the absence of a backlit keyboard and fingerprint reader if those features are required.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This laptop suits professionals and students who need a responsive 10-core CPU, ample 32GB memory and a touch-enabled FHD display for office productivity, web browsing and light creative tasks. Buyers who want a dedicated graphics card for gaming or heavy 3D rendering should look elsewhere. Users who require a backlit keyboard, biometric login or a larger storage configuration without external drives will need a different model.

Questions about this item

Does the box include the laptop, charger and Windows 11 Pro licence, or must anything be purchased separately?

The package contains the laptop, power adapter and a Windows 11 Pro licence; no extra purchase is required for basic operation.

Should I choose the 10-core i7-1255U with 32 GB memory and 512 GB storage or a lower-spec version?

The 10-core i7-1255U, 32 GB DDR4 and 512 GB PCIe SSD configuration suits heavy multitasking and large files; a smaller memory or storage option would limit those workloads.

What does the 4.7 GHz turbo frequency mean for everyday performance?

The processor can briefly reach 4.7 GHz on demanding tasks such as video editing or large spreadsheets, then returns to the 1.2 GHz base for cooler, quieter operation.
