Laptop with 15.6-inch FHD touchscreen

The Dell Inspiron 3520 15 is a new 15.6-inch laptop running Windows 11 Home. It uses a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U processor with 10 cores and a turbo frequency up to 4.4 GHz. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles the display output. The system includes 32GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB PCIe SSD. A 1920 x 1080 touchscreen provides direct input.

Upgrade from older integrated-graphics laptops

This model replaces machines limited to dual-core processors or smaller memory configurations. The jump is worth it when daily workloads need 10 cores and 32GB RAM for multitasking across browser tabs, office suites and video calls. Buyers who want discrete graphics for gaming or GPU-accelerated rendering should look elsewhere.

Practical limits of integrated graphics

Intel UHD Graphics shares system memory and suits 2D productivity, streaming and light photo editing. The HDMI 1.4b port supports one external display at 1920 x 1080. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and one USB 2.0 Type-A port handle peripherals. Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth provide wireless connectivity.
