Core specification and target user

The DELL Inspiron 3520 15 laptop pairs a 10-core Intel Core i7-1255U processor with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD. A 15.6 inch FHD touchscreen running at 1920 x 1080 resolution supports direct input. Integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics handles everyday visual tasks. Windows 11 Pro and an Office 2024 license are pre-installed for professional use.

Installation notes

The unit arrives with the original seal opened by engineers for upgrade and testing only. No user assembly is required; the system is ready to run after initial Windows setup. Drivers for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, the webcam and the SD card reader load automatically. The only common issue is forgetting to sign in with a Microsoft account to activate the Office licence.

Pre-purchase checklist

Verify that a 15.6 inch form factor weighing 3.65 pounds suits your mobility needs. Confirm the port selection — two USB 3.2 Type-A, one USB 2.0 Type-A, one HDMI, one SD card reader and a headset jack — matches your peripherals. Note the absence of a backlit keyboard and fingerprint reader if those features are required. Ensure integrated graphics meet your workload expectations.
