Dell Inspiron 3520 15 laptop

The Dell Inspiron 3520 15 is a 15.6 inch laptop built around a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1255U processor with 10 cores and 12 threads. It ships with Windows 11 Home and includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth connectivity. The 120Hz Full HD anti-glare display suits office work, study and everyday media consumption.

Capacity and headroom

32GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB SSD provide ample space for multitasking, large documents and local file storage. The 10-core CPU handles productivity suites, web browsing and video playback smoothly. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics limits 3D rendering, modern gaming and heavy GPU compute workloads.

Deciding specification

The 120Hz 15.6 inch Full HD panel is the key differentiator for this configuration. Buyers needing a higher refresh rate for smoother motion in standard tasks will benefit; those requiring discrete graphics or a touchscreen should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will my older USB 2.0 peripherals still work with the two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and single USB 2.0 port?

Yes, the USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports are backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices, and the dedicated USB 2.0 port provides a native connection for legacy peripherals.

How can I verify the 120Hz panel is actually running at 120Hz after setting up Windows 11?

Open Settings, choose System, then Display, and confirm the refresh-rate dropdown shows 120Hz for the built-in 15.6-inch FHD screen.

Does the box include an HDMI cable for the HDMI 1.4 port, or do I need to buy one separately?

The laptop ships with the power adapter only; an HDMI cable for the HDMI 1.4 port must be purchased separately.
