Dell Inspiron 3520 for office professionals

The Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6 inch Windows 11 laptop built around a 10 core Intel Core i7 1255U processor with 32GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB PCIe SSD. The touchscreen display runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution and uses integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics for everyday visual tasks. It ships with an Office 2024 license and includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a webcam, numeric keypad and SD card reader in a 3.65 pound black chassis.

Touchscreen FHD panel decides fit

The 15.6 inch FHD touchscreen is the specification that determines whether this unit matches the buyer's workflow; pen or finger input works directly on the 1920 x 1080 surface without an external display. Integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics drives the panel, so the machine suits general productivity, video playback and light creative work but not GPU intensive rendering or gaming workloads that require discrete graphics.

Ready to use with upgrade caveats

The laptop arrives with the original seal opened by engineers for the memory and storage configuration, so Windows 11, drivers and the Office 2024 license are pre activated and tested. Buyers who need additional storage beyond the 512GB PCIe SSD or who require a backlit keyboard or fingerprint reader should note those features are absent on this model.

Questions about this item

What does the 4.7 GHz turbo speed mean when the laptop is running everyday tasks?

The Intel Core i7-1255U can boost up to 4.7 GHz for short bursts, so web browsing, document editing and video calls stay snappy before the chip settles back to its 1.2 GHz base to keep heat and fan noise low.

Which display outputs does the HDMI port actually support on this model?

The single HDMI port drives one external monitor at up to 1920 x 1080 resolution, matching the built-in 15.6 inch FHD panel, and carries both video and audio over the same cable.

Will the 14.11 x 9.27 x 0.83 inch chassis fit in a standard 15 inch laptop sleeve?

Yes, the dimensions match a typical 15.6 inch ultraportable footprint, so any sleeve or briefcase compartment labelled for 15 inch laptops will accommodate the 3.65 pound chassis with room to spare.
