Ready-to-use 15.6" laptop

This Dell Inspiron 3520 15 arrives with Windows 11 Home installed and a 10-core Intel Core i7-1255U processor that reaches 4.7 GHz turbo frequency. The 15.6-inch FHD touchscreen runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution, while 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB PCIe SSD handle multitasking and fast storage. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics drive the display without a discrete card.

Ports and expansion for a desk setup

Two USB 3.2 Type-A ports and one USB 2.0 Type-A port connect peripherals, while an HDMI output feeds an external monitor. A multi-format SD card reader transfers media files, and a headphone/microphone combo jack handles audio. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth provide wireless connectivity, so the chassis stays clean of extra dongles.

Suits mobile professionals needing touch and memory

Buyers who want a lightweight 3.65-pound chassis with a responsive touchscreen and ample 32GB memory for office suites, web apps and light creative work will find it ready out of the box. Users who require a backlit keyboard, fingerprint reader, discrete graphics for heavy rendering or a larger SSD should look at other configurations.

Questions about this item

How long can the Intel Core i7-1255U sustain its 4.7 GHz turbo before thermal limits cut the clock?

The 10-core, 12-thread CPU has a 1.2 GHz base and 4.7 GHz max turbo; sustained all-core speed will settle below the peak once the cooling system reaches equilibrium.

What is the typical fan noise and surface temperature when the 15.6" FHD touchscreen laptop runs a full-day workload?

Integrated Iris Xe graphics and a 15 W-class processor keep heat moderate; the chassis measures 14.11 x 9.27 x 0.83 inches and weighs 3.65 pounds, so fan noise stays low during typical office use.

Which external monitor cables or adapters must I already own to use the video output on this model?

The laptop provides one HDMI port, so a standard HDMI cable is all that is required for an external display.
