Questions about this item

What is in the box with this Inspiron 3520 and do I need to buy a Microsoft Office licence separately?

The laptop ships with Windows 11 Pro and a one-year basic onsite hardware service. No Microsoft Office licence is included so a separate purchase or subscription is required.

Should I choose the 32 GB DDR4 3200 MHz memory with 512 GB NVMe SSD or a different configuration?

This unit already has 32 GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAM and a 512 GB NVMe SSD installed. The memory and storage are fixed at these capacities for this model.

What does the 120 Hz 15.6 inch touchscreen mean for daily use and can I drive an external 4K monitor over HDMI 1.4?

The 120 Hz panel gives smoother scrolling and touch response at 250 nits brightness. HDMI 1.4 is limited to 1920x1080 at 60 Hz so 4K or 2K output is not supported.
