Everyday laptop for home and office

The Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6 inch Windows 11 Home notebook built around a quad-core Intel Core i5-1155G7 processor. It ships with 20GB of memory and a 1TB solid-state drive for fast boot and application load times. The non-touch Full HD display measures 1920 by 1080 pixels. Integrated graphics handle standard productivity and media playback.

20GB memory and 1TB SSD define capacity

The single specification that decides suitability is the combined 20GB RAM and 1000GB SSD. This amount of memory allows smooth multitasking across browser tabs, office suites and video calls. The large solid-state drive stores the operating system, applications and personal files without the slower response of a mechanical hard drive. Buyers who need more storage or user-upgradeable memory should look elsewhere.

Windows 11 Home and WIFI 6 ready

Windows 11 Home comes pre-installed, delivering the latest security updates and interface features out of the box. The wireless card supports WIFI 6 for improved throughput and reliability in crowded networks. An integrated HD webcam enables video conferencing without extra peripherals. ExpressCharge can replenish the battery to 80 percent in 60 minutes, reducing tether time.

Questions about this item

How fast is the 4.5 GHz turbo in everyday work?

The Core i5-1155G7 runs at 2.5 GHz base and can reach 4.5 GHz on short bursts, so web browsing, office apps and video playback stay responsive while the chip returns to lower speeds to manage heat.

What does the 802.11ac wireless cap at in practice?

The 802.11ac radio handles typical home and office traffic such as video calls and cloud sync without bottlenecking the 1 Gbps internet plans most users have today.

Will the 15.6 inch chassis fit in a standard 15 inch laptop sleeve?

The 15.6 inch non-touch display sits in a carbon-black body with rubber feet and hinge bumpers, so a sleeve labelled for 15.6 inch devices will match the footprint.
