Dell Inspiron 3520 laptop with 120 Hz display

The Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6 inch laptop built around an Intel Core i5 11th Gen processor with a turbo frequency of 4.2 GHz. It ships with Windows 10 Pro and 32 GB of DDR4 memory for responsive multitasking. The 120 Hz Full HD panel refreshes at 120 times per second. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics handle the visual output.

Suited for office work and media.

This configuration suits professionals and students who need a bright 15.6 inch screen, ample memory and dual storage in a single chassis. Buyers who require a dedicated graphics card for 3D rendering or modern gaming titles should look at a different system. The integrated graphics share system memory and are not designed for heavy GPU compute. The 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 cover standard wireless needs.

256 GB NVMe SSD plus 1 TB HDD hybrid storage

The storage subsystem combines a 256 GB 2230 PCIe NVMe SSD with a 1 TB hard drive. The NVMe drive holds the operating system and active applications for fast boot and load times. The hard drive provides bulk capacity for documents, media and backups. This pairing removes the need to choose between speed and space.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 120 Hz display and Intel Iris Xe graphics are active after setup?

Open Windows Display settings and set the refresh rate to 120 Hz, then open Task Manager Performance tab and verify Intel Iris Xe appears as the GPU.

What comes in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The laptop, a 65 W power supply, and the 3-cell 41 Wh battery are included; no optical drive is present, so external media drives or additional USB 2.0 peripherals must be bought separately.

Which storage combination suits my workload — the 256 GB PCIe NVMe SSD plus 1 TB HDD?

Choose this configuration if you need fast boot and application launch on the 256 GB NVMe SSD while keeping large files and backups on the 1 TB hard drive.
