Core configuration

The Dell Inspiron 3520 pairs an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with 64GB of DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. The four-core chip reaches 4.2 GHz turbo frequency for responsive multitasking. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics drive the 15.6-inch IPS panel at 1920 x 1080 resolution with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Upgrade perspective

This unit replaces a standard 8 GB or 16 GB configuration with a 64 GB DDR4 SO-DIMM array and swaps a smaller drive for a 2 TB NVMe SSD. The jump is worthwhile when you regularly run virtual machines, large datasets or memory-hungry creative suites that exceed typical laptop allocations. Buyers who need discrete graphics acceleration or user-replaceable GPU options cannot be served by this integrated design.

Capacity and headroom

The 64 GB DDR4 pool and 2 TB NVMe volume handle heavy multitasking, local code compilation and sizable media libraries without paging or space pressure. The 120 Hz Full HD display adds smooth motion for productivity scrolling and casual gaming. The 41 WHr battery and 65 W adapter limit sustained high-load runtime away from mains power.
