Ready-to-work laptop for business and study

The Dell Inspiron 3520 pairs an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 with 64GB DDR4 memory and a 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD, delivering responsive multitasking and vast local storage for documents, media and projects. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed, so the machine is ready for domain join and enterprise management tools from first boot. The 15.6" 60 Hz touchscreen adds direct interaction for presentations or note-taking.

Suited to office workers.

Users who need large capacity and high memory in a 15.6" chassis will benefit from the 4TB drive and 64GB RAM combination. Buyers who want discrete graphics for gaming, rendering or GPU-accelerated workloads should look elsewhere, as the platform relies on Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics. The single USB 2.0 port and HDMI output limit peripheral expansion for power users.

4TB PCIe NVMe SSD decides storage flexibility

The 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD is the specification that determines whether this laptop fits the workflow; it removes the need for external drives and supports large local datasets, offline media libraries and multiple virtual machines. If the workload demands more than 4TB of fast internal storage, this configuration cannot meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

How hot or loud does the i5-1135G7 get when running all day?

The 2.40 GHz quad-core chip with 4.2 GHz boost sits in a 41 WHr, 3-cell battery chassis cooled by a 65 W power supply, so sustained loads stay warm but audible rather than loud.

What must I already own to use the 4 TB NVMe storage and 64 GB DDR4 memory?

Nothing extra; the PCIe SSD and SODIMM modules are factory-installed, so the laptop boots to Windows 10 Pro without additional drives or memory kits.

Can I connect my older USB 2.0 peripherals and HDMI monitor to this 3520?

Yes, the chassis provides one USB 2.0 port and an HDMI output alongside the SDXC reader and combo jack for legacy devices.
